Membership
Free to join. No obligation to finance.
Agencies that finance through the Authority are members. Joining takes a single action by your governing board, pledges none of your agency's funds, and does not commit you to a financing.
- What it costs
- Nothing to join. No application fee and no annual dues. PFA 360 modeling is available to members through CalMuni Advisors as a separate, optional engagement, billed only if your agency elects it.
- What it obligates
- No obligation to finance. Membership pledges none of your agency's funds and creates no liability for any other member's financing. You may withdraw by written notice at any time, except while a financing for your agency, or one it approved within its jurisdiction, is outstanding.
- What it takes
- One board action: a standard resolution and a two-page Non-Charter Membership Agreement. The sample resolution and staff report are in the member packet below.
- Who joins
- Public agencies that finance through the Authority. Under IMPACT, a local agency's consent resolution makes it a non-voting member. Developers and 501(c)(3) organizations participate with the consent or approval of the local agency where the project is located.
